Consulting Specialist

New Zealand, NZ - Information Technology and Services

We have a new exciting Consulting Specialist role in our Technology Services team within our Enterprise Group based in Auckland.


Our business environment is large, complex, diverse and dynamic and ideally we are looking for an individual who has successfully worked in large complex environments and enjoys working within a governance framework whilst bringing a passion to succeed and a complimentary corporate working style to our workplace. This role will have the following key responsibilities:



  • Executing on the strategy and direction for Technology Consulting services into the marketplace;

  • Generating awareness and demand for the Consulting services portfolio;

  • Building strong customer relationships from Executive to Technical recommender level

  • Developing winning value propositions to align with customer requirements

  • Leading and participating in large complex solution sales engagements to successfully position HP to win

  • Writing Statements of Work for large complex solutions;

  • Delivering orders growth for the consulting portfolio in the northern region;

  • Creating territory and opportunity plans to exceed sales targets


This role is ideally suited to those individuals that have a strong technical background while being dynamic, driven and business focussed. This is a more technical sales role but the successful candidate must be adept at developing relationships and leading solution sales to a close.




Qualifications

To be considered for this role you will need to have:



  • Technical knowledge and understanding of IT infrastructure offerings in the traditional sense and also be vitally engaged with emerging technologies and future trends;

  • Ideally you will have a senior level architecture back ground wanting to move more into the business level within consulting services

  • Demonstrate achievement of winning sales ($1M+) in commercial and enterprise accounts and having an innovative approach with sales solutions and ideas for businesses;

  • ICT background within large complex organisations;

  • Solid understanding of customer insight and selling into Enterprise/Commercial environments;

  • Strong influencing, negotiation and self-leadership skills are imperative for this role;

  • Excellent communication and relationship management skills to an executive level;

  • University or Bachelor’s degree is preferred, but not essential.
