A Team Leader (Contracts and Procurement) is required to lead and manage a small team to develop and implement contract and procurement strategies on high value contracts.
You will be required to provide procurement and contract administration advice and expertise to senior management and other stakeholders and build productive relationships with contractors to promote and support delivery the team's services.
To be successful in this role you will have substantial knowledge and experience working in a complex high value procurement, tendering and contracts management environment. You will have a strong track record in the set up of effective contract management governance and reporting systems. You will also have enjoyed success leading a team who manage and deliver complex outsourced services to deliver business objectives. Working with a range of internal and external stakeholders and contractors you will need to demonstrate strong interpersonal and relationship building skills. The ability to influence, negotiate and resolve issues positively will be well regarded. This role will require strong planning, analytical and problem solving ability to meet the everyday and longer term challenges of managing a contracts portfolio to minimise risk and ensure high standards of service delivery. Excellent collaborative style management skills are also essential.
