HP Software wishes to appoint an experienced, professional, innovative and driven Business Development Professional HP - SaaS Solutions to maximize HP revenue potential by continually developing the company’s market exposure and presence in the Software as a Service market segment.


Through a clear understanding of the market for HP Software / SaaS solutions, you will develop a Go to Market plan and gain agreement and sign off for plan execution with both the EMEA SaaS Director and local Sales management teams. The SaaS BDM is the sales subject matter expert in SaaS solutions, acts as evangelist and drives awareness and visibility both internally and externally.

You will:


- Support HPSW ITM Sales in driving SaaS and hybrid deal


- Constantly drive knowledge transfer and awareness to HPSW ITM sales.


- Own the sales enablement plan for the region in conjunction with the EMEA SaaS Director.


- Sales coverage: assists the North Sales management team to build well targeted business and campaign plans designed to drive sales activities to achieve pipeline requirements.


- Supports ITM Sales reps on their active sales cycles by directly engaging with customers/prospects.


- Participates in the execution of prospecting campaigns.


- Be the main interface between HPSW ITM Sales and the SaaS community (EMEA Director, SaaS presales, deal approval etc.)


- Be a subject matter expert in the pricing and value proposition for HPSW ITM SaaS offerings


- Industry and client knowledge: stays current with industry and competitive research and information to enable rich client dialogue; maintains an understanding of client business challenges, industry trends and markets.


- Continuously monitors 3 quarter rolling pipeline health and builds demand generation plans to deliver against revenue goals.


- Forecast overall business and headline deals to EMEA SaaS Director and local Business Development Director.




Qualifications

What you need to bring to the job


- At least 2 to 3 years sales experience in the Enterprise IT industry (solution sales), preferably in the software industry, serving both direct and in-direct customers.


- Fluent English speaker.


- Must understand Indirect Go To Market models (channel models)


- Previous experience of working in a sales capacity and a strong sales track record.


- Must understand forecast and pipeline management.


- Able to demonstrate solid communication and presentation skills.


- Able to take ownership for business planning activities.


- Must be able to work autonomously. Self-starter.


- Team player


- Ability to multi-task


- Motivational and positive attitude


- Able to solve complex problems
