APS4 Media Officer

An opportunity has arisen in a major Federal Government Department for an APS4 Media Officer to assist a busy team with various communication and administration tasks until the 30th of June.



You will work with the communication teams to manage internal and external websites, including drafting content, managing changes and updates, and ensuring all websites are compliant with WCAG 2.0 accessibility guidelines and Vision Australia checks.



You will collate newsletters, prepare editorial board papers, proof-read content, and edit documents where necessary to ensure all communications and materials are of a high standard. You will also perform various administration tasks to support the team as required.



This is a full-time role based in a central suburb. Familiarity with government communications is necessary, and a proactive approach to your work day will ensure you get the most out of this opportunity.



Applicants must be able to commence work within 10 business days. A Baseline Security Clearance is preferred, though not mandatory.
