Functional Safety Consultant

London, United Kingdom, GB - Oil & Energy

Key Responsibilities:



 Deliver functional safety based training courses, write technical papers and deliver specialist technical presentations

 Provide specialist technical support to the safety system project teams

 Undertake business development activities to identify and win opportunities for functional safety consultancy work both within the organisation and externally

 Liaise with third party certification bodies



Qualifications/ experience

 Chartered status or equivalent graduate qualified engineer

 TUV FS Engineer or CFSE status by examination

ï§ Experience of the key issues relating to the professional application of functional safety within an operational engineering environment

ï§ Sufficient market experience to be able to demonstrate an understanding of the relationships between end users, EPCâs and systems integrators

ï§ Significant engineering and design experience of control and safety systems preferably from within the oil, gas and petrochemical industries
