Working in a fast-paced, professional setting provides interns with invaluable experience applying the knowledge and skills learned in school in a business environment. You will work alongside and in support of a group of world-class professionals.
• Marketing Intern position working on design and implementation of aggressive and innovative marketing programs which support growth objectives of HP's solutions and services.
• Analyze market trends and work with business teams to identify customer needs and compelling messaging at the solution and service level to help drive sales.
• Work with colleagues and approved agencies to create compelling marketing and sales deliverables that support these insights.
• Partner/collaborate across multiple organizations to ensure tight pan-HP message in marketplace.
QUALIFICATIONS:
This is a summer internship with potential to work part time during the fall. Candidates should be local to Boise, ID.
Education and Experience Required:
• Bachelor’s degree completed, enrolled in an MBA program preferred
• Experience in marketing or marketing communications in a high-tech company with experience and skills in creating and driving successful marketing programs, including but not limited to market research, strategic marketing planning, services marketing, industry-specific marketing and other ongoing campaigns/initiatives
Knowledge and Skills Required:
• Knowledge of enterprise and/or mid-market computing buyers and the overall business computing market
• Proven track record in developing compelling marketing efforts with measurable results
• Able to multi-task and stay focused to deliver commitments on time with high quality product in a fast paced, competitive environment
• Excellent written/oral communications and analytical skills including creation of customer-ready presentations
• Excellent interpersonal skills; ability to build and manage virtual teams and build consensus
• Collaborative work ethic, able to work with regional marketing leads and other groups in planning and execution phases of marketing initiatives
• Communications and project management expertise
