Job Description

As a TS Support Services Architect, you are responsible to define the scope of services that is required to provide optimal support coverage for the solution we sell to our client. The focused area is in networking and non-HP multivendor services together with entire TSS Datacenter Care offering.

You play an important role in regional team to develop new services portfolio, including but not limited to NFV, SDN and Remote Services.Experience in Telco, Mobile Operator and Managed Services is definitely an advantage.

Roles and responsibilities

Broadly your roles and responsibilities would include the following:

1. Portfolio Development

• Support WW and APJ portfolio lead for new services development

• Provide SME support to enhance and enrich the portfolio

2. Solution Planning / Design

• Works with strategic customer and TS sales to ensure services scope is aligned to the customer’s business objectives, i.e., the right services are positioned to support the proposed technical solution.

• Adapts services scope to support dynamic solution design changes to meet customer’s changing requirements in networking and multivendor space

• Jointly establishes the validity of a solution and its components and relevant services SOW

3. Customer engagement

• Jointly represents HP as the technical expert for the client and shares knowledge in area of expertise

• Partners effectively with others in the account to ensure problem resolution and customer satisfaction

5. Team collaboration

The role requires you to coordinate and work with multiple business units (Servers, Storage, HP Networks, TSS, TSC and GSD and stake holders across EG. Hence to succeed in this role, you need to identify and map the key stake holders you need to partner with and ensure you continuously develop these relationships with the key stakeholders.

Qualifications

Education & Experience Required

First-level university degree or equivalent experience; advanced university degree preferred.

You are technically confident with the ESSN and TS portfolio with a broad technological understanding of the HP and non-HP products such as Cisco, EMC, Dell, IBM and Oracle’s IT infrastructure, management software, virtualization and cloud architectures. Experience in IT helpdesk and services outsourcing project would be preferential.

You have an understanding of HP EG and TS business strategies objectives because an important part of your role will be to create and support sales activities, including supporting bids, making major contributions to the sales lifecycle and developing customer solutions focused on the Data Centre.
