Channel Sales Manager

Saudi Arabia, SA - Computer Hardware

Ø Manage and develop printing and computing channel business and partners in Saudi Arabia by executing agreed channel strategy. Drives profitable business by managing sell-in (distribution orders), distribution inventory, sell-out (sales to 2nd tier partners), product mix.


Ø Builds well targeted business plans and strategies driving sales activities to achieve sell-in, sell-out and inventory targets; manages allocated resources, proposes redeployment if necessary.


Ø Leads in planning quarterly sales strategy; allocates targets across partners and sales representatives; deploys and follows-up on plan execution during the quarter.


Ø Contributes to unit sales plans, works with Category teams on fine tuning unit plans; ensures distribution inventory aging is under control


Ø Analyses market and competitive offerings and proposes price adjustments to the Category teams.


Ø Helps his team (Partner Business Managers) to develop tactical account plans; ensures alignment with overall country strategy.


Ø Manages the internal processes in support of sales reps and selling activities


Ø Promotes & manages strategic programs and focused sales of strategic products.




Ø Achieves forecasted monthly order, shipment and sell-out targets within prescribed accuracy for printing and computing products

Ø Maximize ROI of MDF deployment to develop sales with measurable and aligned activities.


Ø Assesses and manages employee performance to ensure individual and group excellence; counsels and supports individuals through selling challenges; manages performance and results of high and low performers.


Ø Nurtures and advances the talent required to maintain HP sales force excellence within area of control; sponsors and directs skill building activities to increase the productivity and accomplishments of the sales force.




Qualifications

Education and Experience Required:


ü Bachelor's Degree in Business Management. MBA desired


ü At least 8 years or more of channel sales management experience managing a quota in Saudi Arabia in printing or PC business


ü Understanding of the specificities of the Saudi IT channel, with special emphasis on sub-distributors, SMB resellers and retailers


ü Experience leveraging internal sales and external channel partners to provide a total solution to the market.


ü Track record of building and deploying successful sales strategy.


ü Proven ability to build strong sales plan and accurately forecast business.


ü Strong and consistent track record of account management and sales performance.


ü P&L and risk management skills and experience required.


ü Proven sales and team leadership experience with strong skills to manage performance and develop talent.


Knowledge and Skills Required:


ü Highly developed business development and negotiation skills


ü Prove ability to drive sales in complex country.


ü Solid knowledge about channel business drivers, behaviours and models.


ü Channel account sales strategy and execution including usage of sales tools.


ü Proven ability to provide timely and accurate forecasts.


ü Team Leadership.


ü Strong presentation as well as verbal & written communication skills.


ü Demonstration of HP leadership attributes: accountability, will to win, passion for customers, innovative, team developer.
