My client is a very high profile Financial Services firm who require a HTML, CSS and JavaScript (Front End) Developer for its impressive Digital Solutions arm on a 6 month contract in South London.
As Front End (HTML, CSS and JavaScript) Developer you will be responsible for working closely with the designers as a consultant from a Front End Development perspective on a specific public-facing website content project. The project will see you play a key part in moving the content from the existing legacy platform onto a brand new state-of-the-art CMS platform which will transform the business' digital image. You will help rebuild, set up and launch the new content and work within the set out workflow in order to 'lift and shift' the content.
To be considered for this role, you must have strong HTML, CSS and JavaScript skills with a strong preference for candidates with HTML 4 and HTML 5, CSS 2 and CSS 3 (SASS), Javascript, JQuery and Photoshop. Experience with Apache config is a nice to have. The successful candidate will also be able to demonstrate their experience of GIT and SVN.
The interview process will consist of an online test to be completed by all selected candidates which will compare your technical skills against all others that have sat that very same test. This will then be followed by (if your score is considered high enough) a Face-to-Face interview with the hiring manager.
Due to the urgency of this hire, candidates who are immediately available, or available ASAP would be of strong preference.
