Retail Corporate HR Advisor, Europe - One Year Contract

The primary focus of this role is to provide support to the HR Manager for our corporate teams across Apple Retail, Europe. This includes supporting on all administration, HR projects and advising on HR policies and procedures across Apple Retail, Corporate. The role will also provide administration support on global projects across the Retails Corporate HR team.
This role will play an essential part in helping support the growth of our leadership and the employee experience across our retail corporate teams. Success will be demonstrated by providing support in a consistent, timely and accurate manner and building confidence and trust across those you support.
Key Qualifications
- Substantial HR Administration experience required
- Basic knowledge and experience of UK employment legislation required
- Previous experience providing HR support and advice is required.
- Passion to learn and progress within a HR role is desirable
- Proven track record dealing with confidential material
- Highly action- and detail-orientated
- Strong communication skills
- Excellent organisational and planning skills
- Ability to work on own initiative in a fast paced environment
- Excellent composure and ability to remain calm under pressure
Description
Provide administrative support to HR Manager as required. This includes, but is not limited to;
ER Admin
Provide note taking in disciplinary meeting.
Support with all ER administration, such as settlement agreements/disciplinary/redundancy/termination letters etc.
Support with actions around involuntary leavers, i.e closing e-mail accounts quicker than standard procedures, processing expenses after leaving through manual methods.
HR Administration & Advice
Respond to HR questions (i.e holidays, pay day) or reference requests from Retail Corporate employees based in countries that the HR helpline don't support.
Provide HR advice around local policy & procedures.
Provide proactive HR advice around UK policy & procedures to US managers i.e holiday, maternity, sick leave.
Manage all Merlin problems and questions and requests from the HR helpline to make changes.
Complete agency workers report
Complete annual holiday allowance carry over report
Help individuals resolve visa queries with the relevant team.
Provide administration support for any tier 2 visa applications
Support on immigration reporting duties, i.e checking there are no changes to circumstances of Tier 2 immigrants and follow up on visa’s that have expired.
Ensure the relevant employment verification checks have been actioned for MS and Tier 2 Visa applicants
On-boarding
Help support the effective on-boarding of all new Retail Corporate employees, this includes;
Provide guidance and support to managers of new employees around on-boarding.
Organise and manage all logistics around monthly store immersions and quarterly Immersion
Support with weekly HR Inductions.
Career Experiences
Support the career experience team to effective execute the program across Retail Corporate, Europe by;
Meeting with local managers to understand their requirements for a CE.
Support with all CE queries and questions.
Be the point person for Retail Corporate globally to create any reports required around career experience participation.
Development
Provide administration support for all development and training across Retail Corporate, this includes;
Managing all logistics for events i.e booking rooms, sending invites, ordering and preparing all training materials
Ensure effective reporting on feedback from training events
Update the Retail Corporate Development Tracker for all events run globally
Support on requesting 360 feedback reports, long term goal would be to help deliver voices 360 feedback.
Global HR Projects across Retail Corporate
Provide global support on job levelling across Retail Corporate.
Support global Retail Corporate HR team on work for annual reviews and compensation planning
Provide HR metrics and reports for Retail Corporate globally i.e career experiences, turnover, annual review completion etc
Support work on exit interviews across Retail Corporate and global reporting of trends
Help global team keep Merlin up to date with accurate information
Provide admin support for global team around talent plannin
