Our client is an up and coming tier 3 builder based in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne. They have been very successful in the hard dollar market of commercial projects up to a value of $15m and have delivered numerous successful projects across the region over the last 15 years. Throughout this time they have built a solid reputation to be the best builder in their class and have fostered close working relationships with clients, consultants and high quality contractors. The projects they involve themselves in have diversified throughout the years and they are now in a position to complete a great variety of projects for their clients including educational, apartments, institutional and industrial.

Due to a substantial increase in workload this year they are now looking for an experienced project manager and site manager to come on board and join the team overseeing a $10m apartment project that is due to kick off this month. We are looking for people who have a wealth of local experience, who have delivered multiple apartment projects with basements and have history of loyalty to their previous employers as this is seen as a long term role.



In your roles you will be responsible for the timely delivery of commercial projects up to $10m, delivering and managing the master program, letting and vetting of all contracts, overseeing financial reporting, managing relationships with people at every stage of the projects and ensuring all OH&S policies is adhered to.



To be eligible you must have proven experience with the above, be tertiary qualified (PM role) and trade qualified (SM role). The project manager will have come through from a contract administration position and hold a solid portfolio of successfully completed apartment projects in Melbourne. You will be experienced with tier 2/3 builders, have excellent communication skills and the ability to push your team to successful completion.
