Our client is a pharmaceutical company focused on Oncology, Cardiovascular and Metabolic, Respiratory and Immunology. It is actively in-licensing early stage pre-clinical compounds from research institutions and biotech and pharmaceutical partners in the region.



An Associate Director is sought to source, screen and evaluate new products and business opportunities for in-licensing as well as manage alliances with pharmaceutical and biotech partners. The Associate Director will be structuring and negotiating deals. This person will work closely with legal to draft research agreements, CDAs and MTAs.



The ideal candidate would be a deal-hunter with a track record of success. This candidate would have strong business development and alliance management experience in pharmaceutical or biotech companies. The ideal candidate would have strong functional knowledge of the therapeutic areas. The candidate would preferably have an advanced degree (MD/PhD/MBA) and have 5-10 years of relevant experience. This role will provide an ideal opportunity for those looking to build up licensing experience across EU, US and Asia. There would be 50% travel to various cities in US, Europe and Asia.
