Our client is an internationally recognised engineering consultancy whom have a significant reputation in the market. That said within NSW they remain still fairly autonomous due to their size, that said they have achievable yet ambitious growth plans, an exciting company to be a part of at this stage of their development.
You will be highly proficient in performing complex bridge design and detailing tasks including the preparation and checking of design calculations. The Principal Bridge Engineer will also prepare all phases of bridge plan production, including conceptual and preliminary plans to sealed construction plans. Additional duties will entail field work including condition inspections, resolution of issues that arise during construction, review of shop drawings, specifications, and management of design projects. The candidate will establish and maintain cooperative and productive relationships with all stakeholders.
This role would suit a senior/principal engineer that is looking to work across a number of projects from a technical stand point, within a more autonomous environment in which they can have an impact.
