Bayer HealthCare is looking for Medical Affairs Team Lead (OTC).

Position purpose: To ensure and to control an execution of registration strategy (pre-clinical and clinical) and medical support for over-the-counter products via governing of CRMs and Medical Advisers of Medical Affairs Bayer Consumer Care Team.

Major tasks and responsibilities:

• To organize and to lead registration study activities (pre-clinical and clinical) and medical affairs activities regarding qualified medical support of consumer care products portfolio in the corresponding therapeutic areas


• Set the strategic objectives for employees in alignment with business objectives


• Oversee and direct all group activities including, but not limited to such crossfunctional activities as registration studies, observational studies, medical information, pharmacovigilance


• Overall responsible for timing and meeting the objectives set for the area of responsibility


• Responsible to identify and plan corresponding (registration, medical) training needs in the country, and work directly with Regional and Global Operations and to implement specific training programs to meet these needs


• Ensure appropriate resources in the team making sure highly qualified individuals are hired, trained, managed, developed and retained


• Ensure and direct regarding ongoing education of the Registration Specialists and Medical Advisers


• Plan and maintain budget of the corresponding cost center


• Perform PMP and development dialogues with team members and document properly


• Foster excellent relationships to all internal and external partners and functions (within the Medical Development Russia function, to all ZAO Bayer Healthcare platform and business functions, to regional and global medical and business functions)


• Foster a collaborative and goal-oriented working ethics and atmosphere, following the LIFE values


• Gain full compliance to all applicable company, national and international legislations, compliance rules and charters


• Take full responsibility for high quality and efficient documentation of all subordinate employees activities


• Identify innovative and compliant opportunities for scientific activities in the support of all marketed products
