Job Description:

Security Solutions Expert will be part of a worldwide team in the PPS Managed Services organization driving differentiated solutions and supporting strategic Imaging and Printing opportunities.

The expert will:

• Drive adoption and deliver HP’s new Printing Security Advisory Service, as well as

• Provide Security Subject Matter Expertise to key Imaging & Printing MPS and Direct non-MPS sales activities- Including client briefings, security workshops, and/or consulting engagements that assess a client's security posture around their printing environment.

In a given consulting engagement, the expert will identify possible security gaps in the current environment and recommend best practices or solutions to reduce client risk around compliance, industry regulations and increase their ability to deal with emerging threats and risks to the organizations printing environment. Such client security capabilities may involve security policy creation, business process improvements, and solution and technology recommendations.

This position requires demonstrating thought leadership, sales leadership and delivery leadership for security and security solutions.

Job Requirements:

• Must hold a security certification (examples, CISSP, GSLC, CompTIA Security + or equivalent certifications)

• Industry certifications helpful (Certified HIPAA professional, Certified Security Compliance Specialist etc)

• Knowledge of Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC)

• Mandarin Chinese and English language ability

• Strong knowledge of information security policies, network security, and application security

• Knowledge of the print infrastructure and security requirements to secure it

• Ability to prepare and present appropriate technical content for sales presentations and proposals to C-level Security Leaders, and IT managers that aids in influencing customer's purchasing decisions

• Strong capability to provide leadership in the sales process to mentor and coach the account teams in the best approach to the clients around security and business solutions in the printing environment

Qualifications

Education and Experience Required:

• Technical University or Bachelor's degree

• Typically 5-10 years experience in technical consultative selling and account management

• Technical and/or solution experience in appropriate industry

• Experience in vertical industry preferred

Knowledge and Skills Required:

• Demonstrates a broad knowledge of HP's technology & solutions, with deep expertise in area of specialization and related technologies

• Mastery of security technology trends, concepts and solutions

• Knowledgeable in competitive solutions knowledge

• Links HP solutions with data business center needs to create customer business value

• Applies broad understanding of technical innovations & trends to solving customer business problems

• Establishes thought leadership in technical specialty area with customers

• Demonstrated ability to work as the lead for large complex projects
