We are currently looking to recruit a Team Lead to join our Construction & Property division in our Vancouver office. You will have experience working as a 360 Consultant in a recruitment agency environment as well as experience leading a team coupled with a strong understanding of the Construction and/or Property recruitment market.
You will work to develop new and existing clients into key accounts while working closely with your team of recruiters to maintain close relationships between the clients and candidates. The role will require a strong relationship builder and someone who is passionate about growing their business.
The successful candidate will have; at least 2 years’ experience as a Team Lead in a recruitment agency environment, managing a permanent recruitment business coupled with at least 3 years’ experience as an agency recruiter in both temporary and permanent markets. They must have solid business development skills and have a proven track record in fees and contribution, knowledge of recruitment best practices, desire and passion for sales/business development including cold calling, negotiating and handling objections, will be a self-starter and team player with the ability to build strategic and profitable relationships, have the ability to focus, prioritise and multi-task in a fast-paced environment and have exceptional problem-solving skills and decision making skills.

The Role:
Reporting to the Human Resources Director and member of the HR Management team, the purpose of this role is to provide pro-active business partnering with full management responsibility for ensuring accurate and timely completion of weekly and salaried payroll processing and HMRC reporting for circa 650 employees.
Acting as the subject matter expert and working in close liaison with the Finance and wider HR team, you will take ownership of the payroll and benefits strategy and develop and implement cost effective solutions which are aligned with business objectives.
This hands-on role is diverse and challenging and is fundamental to strengthening our internal capability, value and reputation within the business.
The Candidate:
The ideal candidate must have experience within Payroll & Benefits, a strong knowledge of UK tax law and Global Mobility and Expatriate processes along with experience of working within an international group. This job will suit someone who has a strong customer focused mind-set. You will need to be adept at building strong relations and have a strong business partnering approach as this role is the primary contact for all employee payroll and benefits queries. Due to the complexity of this role an in depth knowledge of Sage Payroll and T&A Management System is also essential. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, v look up, mail merges and use of macros would be highly advantageous as you will be responsible for implementing Excel workbooks to reduce the manual processing of payroll information.
