The Career Opportunity
Right now, we’re looking for people to join one of our fastest growing business units: Vodafone Group Technology Enterprise Solutions. The role acts as Global Provides’ interface towards internal delivery stakeholders, namely Program/Project Managers and GTES Management team, for deals won by VGE/VCS etc. The planning of the delivery rollout (order numbers, timing) will be performed jointly with Project Managers assigned to the deal.

The role will be responsible to ensure on time delivery to the agreed customer dates of all the orders related to a major deal project. Regular updates will be prepared for the deal project team according to both operational tracking templates and management reports. The role will ensure proper coordination of all required resources within Global Provide to deliver fixed line services to customer and project management expectations

This includes but not limited to accountability for:
• Overall customer order planning together with key internal delivery stakeholders
• Regular updates on deal and order progress
• risk and issue management and for the escalation management of the orders
• Single Point of Contact for Global Provide rollout requirements
• Customer Programme team meetings
• Project closure archives

This role will be based in Newbury, UK

The Candidate Profile
The role requires an individual with experience within a similar telecoms field, with good understanding of fixed line technologies, or from a highly technical environment. Ideally you will have experience in a role that revolves around service management, operational management, process driven and proven success in building customer relationships, while consistently managing and improving existing ones. You can demonstrate ability to successfully perform in a matrix environment, and can contribute very well as a team player. This role will require a self-starter approach, with a high attention to detail, input on process improvement

Essential:

• Excellent planning and program management skills
• Experience within a delivery related role, in a similar context and able to demonstrate good commercial/business acumen
• Ability to plan ahead and organise own workload within own responsibilities
• Working in a telecommunications or similar environment
• Technical understanding of telecommunication networking environment, systems and products
• Experience related to the global fixed services delivery process
• Working with different cultures and teams within and outside the business
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal

Desirable:

• Business or equivalent qualifications desirable
