My client is a National Not-for-Profit organisation located in Melbourne CBD. The organisation are responsible for delivering a number of high profile events and conferences annually. A gap in the team has lead to the need for an experienced Event Coordinator to join their team. Initially the position will cover a six week period, and will then be recruited for on a permanent basis.
Reporting into the Communications & Events Manager your role support the team through a busy event period. Initially during the six week contract you will be responsible managing the logistics around a National Events Program. The role will be operational and will involve some interstate travel. On a longer term basis this role will manage a wide range of events and conferences including supporting the delivery of the organisation's key National Conference which will be held in 2015.
To apply for this role you must be an Event Coordinator with proven experience managing the logistics of major events or large scale conferences. You be available immediately and able to hit the ground running. You will have excellent attention to detail and organisational skills. You be confident with good presentation skills and the ability to communicate with a broad range of stakeholders.
