This market-leading manufacturing business has a nationwide presence operating mainly out of the food and FMCG industries. They are widely recognised by their competitors throughout Australia with ambitious plans in place to increase their market share and productivity going forward.
As a result of strategy and expansion, they are currently seeking a proven and innovative Senior Operations Manager with strong change management and leadership skills to drive the next phase of their growth and development.
In this role you will be responsible for implementing change through culture transformation and increasing overall quality standards throughout the business. You will also contribute to the overall business strategy going forward and be responsible for the financial aspects such as budgeting and cost reduction programmes. You will have strong operations skills across planning, procurement, OHS and contractor management and have a proven ability to lead from the front.
To be successful you will ideally have experience working in the food industry with a strong knowledge of industry standards and legalisation. You will have strong commercial and negotiations skills and ideally have a tertiary qualification in manufacturing or food processing. You will have excellent communication skills and possess the ability to engage, understand and effectively manage varying levels of personnel and stakeholders.
