Singapore, SG - Computer Hardware


  • Develop, drive and evaluate complex PR/AR strategies and programs in support of business objectives or revenue targets

  • Prepare news and launch activities, including coordinating media and analyst interviews, tours, events, generating releases, presentations and other materials as appropriate

  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with top media, analysts and industry leaders (business, national, global)

  • Provide media and spokesperson training for key execs and sales leadership as needed

  • Set or lead PR/AR strategies, policies, standards and direction

  • Recognized as an authority and thought leader on PR or AR matters, and frequently called upon to handle sensitive issues or relationships

  • Contribute to the development and adoption of innovative PR/AR principles and practices across HP

  • Manage and motivate agencies to deliver on message, on time, on budget

  • Functional or department budget management

  • Scope can be local, regional or global

  • Role can be within a business, function or corporate

  • Frequently represents HP to outside public (customers, media, analysts, etc.)

  • Represents HP on the most sensitive and complex company or country issues that could impact the HP brand and reputation

  • Frequently interacts with senior levels of the company





Qualifications


  • Business Analyst (BA) or Bachelor of Science (BS) in Communications, Marketing or Business Administration

  • 10+ years of experience in PR/AR or a combination of marketing and communications disciplines


Knowledge and Skills Required :



  • Superior writing and editing skills - recognized for "near perfection" writing and editing and often asked to edit the work of others

  • Strong oral communications skills; ability to think on feet

  • Senior "story teller" - ability to take complex concepts and messages and transform into an audience-resonating story

  • Organization and program management skills

  • Ability to link PR/AR plans and activities to business results

  • Well-developed analytic skills (measurement, Return on Investment (ROI

  • Comfortable as a spokesperson for HP

  • Fluency in local language and English

  • High levels of tact and diplomacy

  • Agency and budget management

  • Consultative skills

  • Ability to interact with all levels of the company top to bottom, including most senior company management
