Reporting into Director level, the main purpose of the role will be to provide strategic direction to the Senior Management team, and have responsibility for the management of the company's financial activities.



Other responsibilities will include:



Overseeing the management and statutory accounts

Monitoring the efficiency of financial processes, including the computer systems, and facilitating improvements where possible

Overall responsibility for Payroll

Provision of strategic financial advice

Some company secretarial duties

Overseeing the provision of IT services





The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with previous experience of providing high level strategic advice and managing a finance team. You will be a strong communicator, able to deal with internal and external stakeholders and used to working in an organised manner to ensure deadlines are met.

As Investment Data Specialist you will come from an asset management background working with Front Office to define and drive through data solutions.



The Global Data Services division provide data services and solutions internally to the investment teams, Distribution and Operations Divisions. As Investment Data Specialist you will work closely and will be dedicated to providing data services directly to the Investment groups, IT and Architecture divisions. This is an exciting opportunity to deliver data solutions on a new and expanding platform.



Your strong interpersonal and communicational skills will be utilised to work closely with multiple investment groups to understand investment strategies and business processes to provide and understand and deliver on the demand for data. Your relevant experience will include gathering, documenting, and analysing data requirements using data centric tools. Candidates will be accustomed to working with evolving business requirements for data working closely with IT, Architecture and other functions in shaping data, solution design, testing and implementation of data solutions.



Candidates will come from a data management background specialising in investment data sourcing, set-up and maintenance, investment data integrity and quality checking, investment data analysis and reporting for example. Candidates with prior data governance exposure will be highly advantageous, so will candidates coming from an index data background.



In addition, it is essential the successful candidate will demonstrate strong investment data analysis gained within front office or middle office functions across all asset classes for investment data and analytics. Prior experience working with Data Vendors such as Bloomberg, Interactive Data and Rimes and prior use of Point, Delta and Factset would be a distinct advantage. Candidates will have a 2.1 degree in a mathematical/analytical discipline with advanced Excel/SQL.

I am currently recruiting for a Customer Logistics Coordinator for a distribution company based in Heywood. As Customer Logistics Coordinator you would be based at their head office in Heywood and would be expected to take calls from drivers who have delivery discrepancies, report these discrepancies to the customer through their internal logging system and investigate the problem with internal departments to ensure the route cause is established to prevent re-occurrence. You would also be expected to liaise with delivery destinations for stock or POD issues and control outstanding POD's the company has with outside hauliers and marry these up and scan onto their internal system.



The standard working hours are 40 hrs Monday to Friday (weekend work may be required at their busiest period) This company works on a shift basis which would include a rota of 7am - 4pm, 8am - 5pm and 9am - 6pm.
