I am currently recruiting for a Customer Logistics Coordinator for a distribution company based in Heywood. As Customer Logistics Coordinator you would be based at their head office in Heywood and would be expected to take calls from drivers who have delivery discrepancies, report these discrepancies to the customer through their internal logging system and investigate the problem with internal departments to ensure the route cause is established to prevent re-occurrence. You would also be expected to liaise with delivery destinations for stock or POD issues and control outstanding POD's the company has with outside hauliers and marry these up and scan onto their internal system.
The standard working hours are 40 hrs Monday to Friday (weekend work may be required at their busiest period) This company works on a shift basis which would include a rota of 7am - 4pm, 8am - 5pm and 9am - 6pm.
