Our client an automotive service provider based in Darwin is seeking a sales and customer service manager to join their reputable business. Seeking a fulltime permanent employee this company is seeking a local candidate.



In this role you will report to the Senior Manager and will be integral in leading changes for the organisation into 2015. This company is looking to implement new processes and systems in order to better the service they provide for customers and therefore want a manager who can be relied upon to support and engage the team in embracing these changes. You will manage the front of house retail sales and service team and will be a hands on manager in assisting customers and contribute to the sales output of your team.



A requirement of this role is to work to set KPI's and targets and therefore you must be driven and be confident in forecasting and preparing an annual budget. Your aim is to encourage and implement strategies to increase overall revenue for the organisation whilst maintaining a high level service to your customers.



In order to be considered for this role you must have demonstrated experience working in a customer focused sales role. Team management experience is essential. You must also have an excellent phone manner and be well presented at all times. You will be computer savvy in order to manage a complex database and be competent in handling money. You must be willing to learn new products and have excellent communication skills in order to convey services and products in response to customer needs.

Sheetmetal tooling engineer in support of HP Server and Rack teams in development of prototype tooling, soft tooling and hard tooling design and analysis to drive high quality at lowest cost for both the tools and piece-part prices.






Responsibilities


  • Development of sheetmetal stamping tools for HP server and rack products.

  • Will be considered the tooling expert for sheetmetal parts during the development process and into production.

  • Will act as a consultant for internal HP Mechanical development engineers regarding part manufacturability and assembly for high volume production.

  • Will act as a consultant to external vendors to review sheetmetal tool designs for robustness at low cost.

  • Will perform competitive cost analysis and clean-sheet cost analysis of sheetmetal parts.

  • Drives innovation and integration of new technologies into projects and activities in the mechanical and thermal design organization.

  • Provides guidance and mentoring to less-experienced team members






Qualifications

Education and Experience



  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Tool & Die Journeyman

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in sheetmetal tooling design.


Knowledge and Skills



  • Proficient in using ProEngineer as a mechanical design and documentation tool

  • Proficient at estimating manufacturing costs of building sheetmetal tools and piece-part prices.

  • Experienced at effectively dealing with conflict

  • Makes clear and effective presentations to inform and persuade peers and managers

  • Communicates well verbally, in writing, and graphically

  • Ability to establish clear goals and formulate plans to achieve them

  • Good problem-solving skills

  • Works independently and as part of a team

  • Ability to speak and write effectively in English

  • Excited about technology and has the desire to learn new tasks and technologies
