Business Analyst - Retail

London, United Kingdom, GB - Retail

My client is a Tier 1 management consultancy, building their Retail Consulting division with a number of Senior Consultant/Manager/Senior Manager grade roles.



In these roles you will work with the customers IT and Business leaders to define, document and then deliver their change agenda.



As a client facing consultant you will be working with 2 household name retailers in London across one of three main transformation areas;



eCommerce / MultiChannel / Omni Channel

Appreciation of the various technologies (bespoke and off the shelf) that underpin eCommerce/mCommerce (ATG, Java, Javelin, Oracle Retail other COTS packages)



Merchandising



Deep knowledge of merchandise and assortment planning processes and their impact on the supply chain. Key processes include: pre-season planning, location / channel planning, store clustering, assortment / range planning and in-season management. Experience of implementing one or more of the leading merchandise and assortment planning solutions such as JDA, Oracle Retail and SAP within large, multi-channel retail businesses



Supply Chain

Knowledge of the processes and technologies supporting a retailers order management, warehouse management and distribution needs



ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE

• Demonstrable track record/career history in Retail


• Performing a functional or analytical role shaping projects and programmes


• Knowledge of ONE or MORE of the above 3 channels - eCommerce, Merchandising OR
  
  Supply Chain
  
  
  
  It is HIGHLY desirable you have some client facing / professional services experience - however not essential.
  
  
  
  Successful candidates will be seconded into one of 2 London based retailers (major brands / household names) to start work on these programmes

£60000.00 - £85000.00 per annum + Bonus
