The role of the Operations and Office Manager is diverse, and fantastically varied. As the key linchpin of the office you will not only look after the management of four customer service staff, a PA and Receptionist, you will be heavily involved in the day to day running of the import side of the business. Forecasts, stock taking and checking and dealing with warehouse operations will all be critical in ensuring that supply and demand are managed successfully, and customers are kept happy at all times. You will also be involved in some light bookkeeping, and ensuring that all office processes run smoothly, suggesting process improvements to really make things tick.
Your IT skills will be well developed, and outstanding organisational skills are a must. A background in Logistics, Import or retail would be highly favoured. You should be outgoing, able to manage and influence people and drive an upbeat, positive culture.
