Technical Director - USA and International Media and Entertainment firm - Rome (Italy) - $235,000.00 USD + 10% performance-related bonus - this is an opportunity for an individual with a good mixture of technical and business skills to work within a strong professional management team.

Our client is an established USA and International Media and Entertainment firm which is expanding its operations. The company has a high dependency upon technological business processes and as such this is considered to be a critical success factor for the business. They are looking for an accomplished individual with a good mixture of technical and business experience who is able to ensure that IT and business strategy are fully integrated. The position will require occasional travel to the company’s other USA and international facilities but apart from this the candidate will be permanently based in the location as specified. This is a core vacancy and as such the salary offered is calculated under the Chief Officer code. This position also includes a first rate healthcare, pension and a possible share options package.

The candidate will be responsible for the overall management and day-to-day operations of the information technology department incorporating several hundred employees. They will be directly responsible to the Chief Technical Officer and will be involved at board level with a number of other departmental officers who are responsible for Marketing, Human resources, Operations, Customer Services, Finance, Procurement, Logistics, Management, Health and Safety and E-commerce. The successful Technical Director will be responsible for implementing and managing established technical business process re-engineering programs within business intelligence and corporate strategic management.
