Key Qualifications

• Fluency in English and Mandarin is required.


• Not required, but preferred, is also fluency in Cantonese.


• 3-5 years relevant work experience.


• Minimum 3 years technical hardware repair training for a consumer technology company.


• In depth technical experience with OS X, iOS and Apple Hardware.


• Excellent verbal and written communication skill

Description:

Instruct Technicians on effective skills in Apple hardware repair, upgrades, installations, software product knowledge, cross platform and Airport networking, customer care, procedure adherence, and tools usage.

Maintain training rooms, ensuring rooms are equipped and set up with the necessary equipment to conduct classes, including computers, software, networking, peripherals, and audio/visual aids.

Assist with the development of training materials, particularly in the areas of on-line service training, hands-on hardware repair labs, interactive role-plays, and virtual instructor-led training (VILT).

Customize training materials as needed to ensure training meets the needs of specified on the job tasks.

Maintain extensive knowledge of course materials and deliver courses in a professional manner.

Meet instructional learning objectives through delivery of courses.



Service Trainer Specifics:

Responsible for instructing Service Technicians using a variety of techniques, including presentations, on camera delivery of virtual instructor-led training (VILT), role-plays, hands-on labs, and self-paced study.

Will work with internal and external business partners to assess technicians and develop performance improvement plans for technicians that are struggling to meet their full set of job requirements.

Responsible for translating and verifying completed translations of training content.

Ability to travel, both domestic and international, is required for this role



Education



Bachelor's degree (Education, Instructional Design, or Engineering)

Apple Certified Macintosh Technician preferred.
