I am currently recruiting three very similar roles and require smart and government savvy senior level communications experts to join my client's teams.



All three roles have a strong media focus, with a good mix of both internal and external communications. My clients are looking for candidates with a good generalist skill set with a bent towards media and a passion for Plain English writing.



You will need at least 7 years experience working in communications roles in both the private and government sectors. Strong stakeholder engagement and relationships management experience is a must, as is your ability to confidently provide expert communications advice to Senior Management.



You are highly educated and keen to share your expertise and work collaboratively with your team members - who are just as smart as you!



Proven experience in writing in Plain English is a must, particularly your ability to work well with technical subjects and develop publications and corporate documentation. Strong experience in managing media, both proactive and reactive is vital. You will have a highly level of competence across developing and implementing communications plans, and also providing input into communications strategy.
