Our client, a globally operating business with offices in Fareham, are seeking a qualified Accountant to join their finance team as an Assistant Accounts Manager. This job role operates as part of a team and is responsible for the accounting and administration of a number of funds and associated companies.
This role is ideally suited to a finance professional looking to make a first move from Practice. You will need to possess a strong technical finance knowledge and a comprehensive understanding of IFRS and UKGAAP and, as a visible member of the team, be able to communicate effectively with all levels within the business ranging from junior members through to the Board.
You will produce quarterly management accounts and half yearly and final statutory reports and accounts for funds and other investment entities, and be required to liaise with external auditors on all accounting and reporting issues to ensure deadlines are met.
