My client a market leader within the FMCG industry is seeking a Trade & Marketing Spend Analyst to join their business on a 6 - 9 month contract.

With shorts & jandals days accompanied by BBQs throughout January and bring a pet to work days once a week even though this is a contract opportunity you will need to hit the ground running and fit in as part of the team from day one.



The successful candidate will have experience working within a global FMCG in a similar role partnering with the sales team analysing trade and marketing spend whilst offering insight beyond findings and results. Alternatively, you could come from a key account or category analyst background. Reporting to the Finance Director and partnering across the business you must be able to communicate and relate with individuals from all levels across the business. As the ideal candidate you will have experience using Promax / ISS, Ebuy, SAP & Quickview. You will be extremely proficient in Excel and your skills in this area and ability to further provide insight will be second to none.



You will be responsible for providing accurate and detailed financial information, supporting the sales and the marketing function in the area of Trade Expenditure / MAB. You will need to offer insight through evaluating effectiveness and trade spend & MAB along with providing recommendations. You will also provide tools for the sales team to evaluate proposed new promotion types for sign of MMT. You will provide accurate plans and forecasts for trade spend as well as highlighting and providing suitable timely commentary and analysis of varieties to plan and forecast.



To be successful in this role, you will display excellent analytical skills, compiled with strong communication skills with the ability to offer key insights. You will be customer centric, with strong time management and problem solving skills. Experience with working from a variety of data sources is key and a working knowledge of Aztech and Neilson would be advantageous.
