The Resident Trainer is responsible for leading and implementing all new Manager Training within AppleTraining Stores. By delivering the initial training provided to new Apple managers, the Resident Trainers are the key to setting our managers up for a high level of success. This is accomplished through facilitating and coordinating high caliber training and providing feedback between Global Retail Training and the markets.


Primary Responsibilities


• Delivery of New Manager Training.


• Coordinate a Training Plan for all new management.


• Manage all logistics for manager training such as communication, travel, etc.


• Maintain a Master Training Calendar.


• Work with Recruiters to align hiring and on-boarding dates to Master Training Calendar.


• Provide feedback during and after training to the new managers as well as to their Store Leaders and Market Leaders.


• Ensure that their Training Store is in line with current GRT Training Store guidelines.


• Partners with their Training Store to ensure Apple's programs and operations are being implemented and followed per company direction.


• Facilitate Train the Trainer sessions when needed (ex. Market Core, Mentoring Skills, etc.).


• Provide feedback and coaching to facilitators and mentors in-store and in-classroom.


• Be a subject matter expert and provide feedback regarding training content to Global Retail Training. Operations and Communication


• Responsible for leading the coordination of manager training.


• Maintain an independent schedule, time card management, budgets and expense management.


• Engage in consistent verbal and written communication with Global Retail Training, field partners, and various Market Support team members.


• Actively seek, share and support implementation of best practices.


• Seek feedback on personal performance and development regularly.Delivery


• Role model behaviors and skills associated with training at Apple Retail.


• Facilitate high-caliber training in a professional manner.


• Maintain extensive knowledge of course materials.


• Foster a learning environment to engage and develop a diverse audience.


• Provide feedback and coaching to mentors and facilitators following observation of their classroom trainings.
