Financial Accountant - HKMA Regulatory Reporting

A top-tier global bank providing a wide range of products and services to their clients throughout the Asia Pacific region, including corporate, commercial and private banking services is looking to hire a Financial Regulatory Accountant to manage and support all HKMA financial regulatory reporting duties.



Reporting directly to the Senior Regulatory Manager, you will be primarily responsible of preparing all HKMA returns and surveys required for the bank, including reporting for all HK branches across all business lines (Private Bank, Commercial Bank and Global Markets. Additionally, you will assist in all ad-hoc regulatory projects.



To be a successful candidate, you must be a qualified accountant with a degree in accounting or equivalent. You must have a minimum of 5 years of hands-on HKMA preparation experience acquired from financial institutions / banks, and possess strong Microsoft Excel skills. You must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong command of both written and spoken Cantonese and English.
