Senior Audit Manager - Reinsurance

A global reinsurance company are now recruiting for a Senior Audit Manager to join their Finance and Risk Management team. This company prides itself on its capital strength, diversity and reputation with expertise in a wide area of the global market place.



This position is suitable for a current internal auditor in the insurance sector who is seeking their next opportunity in a global business which gives its employees a wealth of experience and learning. You will develop your existing line management experience with the outlook of expanding your team in the future. Reporting to an Audit Director you will plan and lead audits, reviewing the work of your team and working with the entire audit function to ensure the completion of the annual audit plan.



Responsibilities include:



-Working with senior stakeholders from across the global business and ensuring your key recommendations are implemented

-Ensuring the development of your team and carrying our appraisals around their performance

-Reviewing different business functions both in the UK and globally



Ideal candidate:



-Must be currently at a senior level in an internal audit function within the insurance sector in the UK or Europe

-With previous experience of carrying out operational and financial risk based audits preferred

-Ideally have previous experience of managing a team

-Will have excellent communication skills and the ability to influence key individuals in the business
