Our client is a large Local Government organisation responsible for some of Sydney's fastest growing suburbs in Sydney's West. Due to the pace of population growth and the size of new developments being proposed, an experienced Development Engineer is required to join this fast paced team.



In this role you will be responsible for providing technical engineering advice to Council, applicants, consultants, developers and the general public in relation to proposed developments and subdivisions. You will also be required to assist in the appraisal of subdivision road and drainage plans to ensure compliance with best engineering design and construction principals.



To be considered for this role you will have a degree in Civil Engineering and have extensive experience in road and drainage design. You will have a sound knowledge of Local Government legislation and relevant planning and construction policies. You will excellent interpersonal communication and negotiation skills and have the ability to work with large multi-disciplinary groups. Candidates must also be computer literate and have a current Class C drivers license.
