Mobile Broadband Consultant

The Mobile Broadband Consultant position will offer the candidate the opportunity to engage senior level management of mobile operators in the APAC region to position business proposals for mobile broadband networking solutions such as:



GSM/UMTS/LTE designs, plans, implementations and commercial solutions;

Customer experience management solutions and methods of improving QoS/QoE;

Telecommunications operations process improvements for procurement etc.;

Self optimising networks;

Business cases for smartphone's;

Mobile payment business model evaluations;

Leading edge solutions for M2M and cloud.



The perfect candidate will be able to work independently analysing: markets, industry trends, CAPEX, OPEX, investments, government or regulator policies and then designing the appropriate business solutions.



The candidate will participate in market planning and sales events. They will perform internal promotion activities for the related business plans and communicate with customer key stake holders regarding current and future business opportunities.



They will need to understand, be able to calculate and communicate regarding NPV/ROI/IRR/TCO/TVO for their respective markets.



The appropriate candidate should have at least 5 years experience in the domains of market research, data analysis, or business planning as it relates to mobile telecommunications broadband practices. Must be a quick learner with an engineering or business degree in telecommunications and the appropriate operator or vendor experience.



Must be a team player, self-motivated, results oriented and highly independent. Mandarin language skills will be required for speaking with customers and colleagues in the Chinese speaking markets in APAC.
