Essential Job Functions

• Conducts technical research, testing, evaluation and documentation of routine hosting/configuration tools and methodologies to ensure that tools are current and functional.
  


• Assists in creating application architectures and populating an application host/configuration matrices with appropriate strategies, timelines and cost information to increase cost efficiency and effectiveness.
  


• Assists in designing application modules that work together to produce desired product and to ensure that performance guidelines are met.
  


• Assists in the planning of technical support infrastructure through the creation of service level agreements; assists in the transition from application development to support; ensures that appropriate support is available to clients in a timely and efficient manner.
  


• Works with product development teams and senior designers to develop architectural requirements to ensure client satisfaction with product.
  


• Assists more experienced architects in providing high-level analysis and design reviews to other department members to avoid duplication of effort in solving the same application problems with different products.

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
    
  
  
  • Bachelor's degree in business, software engineering, computer science or related field preferred
    
  
  
  • Six or more years of application architecture and/or product development experience
    
  
  
  • Experience working with software systems, applications and network markets
    
  
  
  • Experience working with application design principles and product configurations
    
  
  
  • Experience working with appropriate programming languages, operating systems, hardware and software
    
  
  
  • Experience working with programming to understand product line software
    
    
    
    Other Qualifications
    
    
    
    
    • Experience 10+ Yrs
    
    
    • Primary Skills: Experience in Advisory of Cloud Computing, or migration projects
    
    
    • Technical assessment to migrate/move application cloud, define the target state of application for the relevant cloud environments (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS; Private, Public Cloud), define the target cloud state, technology roadmap, Migration effort and cost Estimations
    
    
    • Conduct rigorous quantitative analyses to generate insights about client business and IT Landscape alignment and value creation opportunities
    
    
    • Assist in creating To-Be application architecture blueprints and roadmaps with associated business cases to enable IT and Business Strategies given current application health
    
    
    • Experience in Crafting high level Transformation Solution, Business Case and IT Roadmap, able to work on proposals and RFP and lead the solution,
    
    
    • Experience in leading Large Deals in regards IT Application Advisory Services.
    
    
    • Experience in IT Strategy Consulting, IT Cloud Advisory from application perspective, Application Portfolio Optimization, IT Landscape Visibility, Analysis and IT Transformation
    
    
    • Should have experience of managing application rationalizing projects right from planning to execution
    
    
    • Proven experience in Client Interfacing, Relationship Management, Cross team coordination
    
    
    • Secondary Skills: Should have Strong Communication skills, Analytical ability and Interpersonal Skills
    
    
    • Should have IT Solution orientation mindset
    
    
    • Must understand technology trends and should have business sense of IT in order to articulate the returns on technology investments for customers
    
    
    • Create and own methodologies, frameworks, templates etc. for application decommissioning and able to defend solution and proposals in front of customers and sales people
    
    
    • Good skills in application design and architecture and personal computer and business solutions software skills
