An opportunity for a purchasing officer has become available for a 1 month contract. The role is for four weeks, commencing Thursday 13 November 2014.



This position will support the transition to a new finance system. The main responsibilities of this position will include closing existing POs in the current Oracle system, and raising new POs in the new Oracle system. There are nearly 300 purchase orders to create and this work will include applying new General Ledger codes and account strings to the POs.



To be suitable for this position you will have similar experience as a purchasing officer, possess strong verbal and written communication skills and have strong time management skills. It will be necessary to have experience with data entry in Oracle Financials, be organised and have good attention to detail.



Candidates need to have experience of closing and raising purchase orders.
