As one of the largest and most respected Australian retailers, our client is seeking a Senior Womenswear Buyer to join their growing team in and exciting and strategic role.
As Womenswear Buyer you will be responsible for all aspects of strategic buying within this category including a large emphasis on product development. You will have a direct report and will work closely with the broader team to increase the sales and profitability of the brand purchasing product ranges which match the needs and desires or our customers. You will have a fantastic reputation and will build strategic and effective relationships with suppliers.
As a successful Womenswear Buyer for this role, you will be responsible for analysing reports and market trends, as well as gathering market intelligence from sourcing trips and supplier presentations. You will have specific experience with fast fashion, as well as a proven track record of successful trend driven buying. As a successful candidate, you will have outstanding stakeholder relationships and will have demonstrated a strategic approach to buying. You must have a minimum of 5 years buying experience within Womenswear apparel and most specifically, fast fashion.
