This state government department has had an increase in workload and as such requires a Senior Media advisor to support the team. Based in Brisbane CBD this assignment will be for a period of 3-4 weeks with view to start on or before Monday 10th November



You will be responsible for managing the media phone line and communicating with various media outlets. This will include but is not limited to writing media responses, releases, reading through media reports and producing media related collateral.



To be considered for this position you will have a strong working history in media relations couple with strong written and verbal communication skills. You will have a tertiary qualification in journalism, communications or similar with strong organisation skills and the ability to work under pressure. Having previous working experience in government will be highly regarded.
