Technical Solutions Representative
Boise, Idaho Area, US - Telecommunications, Information Technology and Services
Representatives will be responsible for fielding and handling all customer, potential customer, and resident inquiries regarding internet and TV service through phone, chat and e-mail. These contacts include inquiries related to:
• Sales
• Signup and pricing information
• Pre and post install technical support
• Billing and account management
• Construction and other issues
Representatives are expected to take full ownership and follow through completely on every issue, and to proactively alert leadership of system, tool, network or other issues that hinder their ability to properly assist customers in a timely fashion.
In addition, one of the key requirements is the ability to follow strict policies regarding safeguarding of customer information. Representatives will be expected to strictly comply with these policies at all times.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Acts quickly to resolve customer issues
• Identify and relate to users’ different skill levels, and respond appropriately
• Explain technical terms, issues, and processes clearly over the phone
• Perform logical troubleshooting – ask appropriate questions to get a comprehensive description of the problem, logically check possible causes and identify actual root issue, efficiently research issues and resolutions, implement appropriate resolution
• Provide detailed case logging, showing good writing skills. Case notes must be clear and comprehensive.
