The Audit Managers role is responsible for assisting the Chief Audit Officer in developing the Annual Audit Plan, managing internal audit projects in line with the annual Audit Plan and reviewing specific business areas and assessing the adequacy and appropriateness of the risk controls in place.
You will perform a detailed scoping exercise to determine the parameters of an audit project. You need to ensure that the scope meets the objective of providing adequate & appropriate evidence to support the conclusions of the audit. Field work is required, and for project-based work, you will show your leadership. In addition, you will work with Chief Audit Officer to ensure that the audit work papers address the scope objectives, and there is sufficient and appropriate audit evidence obtained to support the conclusions of the audit.
You are required to have at least 5 years with practising experience in banks and external audit experience from firms. You must have a good and deep understanding of the regulation frameworks. You need to show your leadership and have a sense of time management. Your acquaintance with financial products in banking system is highly valued. Your communication skills will also be taken into consideration as you will link a connection with your clients and business units. Good command of English and relationship management is also important.
