Finance Manager

Hays Accountancy & Finance is currently working exclusively with this growing firm in Swindon. Due to continued success the role of Finance Manager has been created to support the Finance Director.

This is an excellent opportunity for a self-driven and motivated person to join an established business with a turnover in excess of £15m.

Have exposure to the listed responsibilities in previous employment

* Have Excellent Communication Skills

* Knowledge Sage Accounts would be beneficial



Manage, motivate, develop and appraise the administration team members as required, so that their individual and collective performance meets the current and future needs of the business



Analysing & signing off the month end sales, purchase & nominal ledger deadlines for management accounts timetable



Bank reconciliation



Processing journal entries



Analysing comprehensive management and financial information, pro-actively addressing to report month P&L inconsistencies



Finalise to agree the monthly accounts ready for signing off for issuing



Analysis of information to management accounts in preparation the finalised draft accounts at month end



Compiling reports and cost information to Identify, recommend and implement procedures to assist in improving financial planning for future business requirements.



Collection of appropriate data creating various financial reports with analysis for the Commercial Manager of specific costs.



Analyse & probe the profitability to live ongoing contracts, reporting any issues to the Contracts Manager



Other

o Preparation & process of asset financing documents

o Update & implement written procedures for all Admin staff

o Employment contracts

o Drafting & sending Staff memos from Managers & Directors

o Insurance claims, collating report for claims to property & site damages

o Insurance reconciliation to current fleet to the fleet schedule (Quarterly)

o Mobile phone contracts & kits supply (annual)

o Debtor credit insurance renewals (annual)

o CITB returns (annual)

o Credit limit reviewing, arranging meetings with HCC & Customers
