Project Executive

Position overview:



The primary responsibility of the Project Executive is to support senior team members in managing the day-to-day project delivery for high profile multinational clients liaising with international BDO offices and BDO LLP’s UK based team of Project Managers, Executives and Administrators. As Project Executive, you will report on a remote-working basis to line management based in BDO’s Reading office.



Due to the nature of the role, a flexible approach to work is required in order to facilitate the needs of our clients and your colleagues, as well as the right person being proactive, efficient with excellent communication skills.



You will be expected to consistently demonstrate core BDO values and the required standard of competency for the level of this role, which includes adherence with compliance and confidentiality standards.



Criteria:



You will be degree educated and have achieved at least a grade B in English.



Previous experience in a professional environment, of providing project support to include using systems and liaising with colleagues.



Ability to prioritise and plan effectively, adopting a logical and methodical approach in order to meet tight deadlines



Good verbal and written communication skills, to a high business standard which will enable the post holder to communicate with confidence and clarity during on line web conferences and teleconferences with non-English mother tongue clients and BDO teams across the globe.



Role and responsibilities:



Personal responsibility for:



· Monitor tasks on the portal on a daily basis

· Issue weekly reports to Project Executives

· Schedule WebEx's/conference calls

· Control and monitor central invoicing

· Maintain central and direct invoicing logs

· Perform bank payment functions

· Other general administrative tasks as required in line with the requirements of the role



Support other team members to:



· Complete on line demonstrations of capability on the portal

· Build portals

· Create calendars/deadline timetables

· Monitor portal administrators and assist with any queries

· Take ongoing project calls



Desirable Criteria:



Prince 2 Certification



Accounting experience in a shared service centre to aid understanding of client operations (noting that this is a project management focused role, and not accountancy focused)



Intermediate/working knowledge of Microsoft packages including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
