Our client is a leading, national, not for profit organisation that is looking to bring on a Licensing and Buying Manager to devise an effective buying strategy and promote the sales of their licensed product. This is an incredible opportunity to truly impact in a strategic and exciting role.
As Licensing and Buying Manager you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic plans to promote the sales of their licensed products throughout Australia. You will further work to build and nurture relationships with licensees. Monitoring licensee contracts for compliance purposes, as well as handling the control of the licensing budget are critical aspects of the role. You will work effectively with internal and external stakeholders to effectively communicate the message of the product; consulting with the Committee on all guidelines.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record working as a buyer in a retail or wholesale environment with familiarity handling licensed product. You will have exceptional stakeholder management skills; both internally and externally. You will have proven outcomes from this stakeholder management and will have a clear, effective and authoritative communication style. Some experience in marketing or internal communications will be highly valued for this role. As Licensing and Buying Manager, you will be a commercial, self-starter with outstanding leadership and communication skills.
