Are you an experienced Business Development Manager who can demonstrate a proven history of selling into NSW Government as an external supplier?



Do you have a background in education/training, learning & development or recruitment services?



As the Senior Business Development Manager your responsibility is to drive sales activity specifically within the NSW public sector market with a focus on long term growth. A secondary aspect of the role is to play a strategic sales role including engagement with the National Sales function and public sector markets outside of Sydney.

A snapshot of the roles duties & responsibilities includes:




  • Undertake sales activity leading to increased business in the public sector market within NSW, through repeat business with existing clients or cross-selling of different products to existing clients.

  • Undertake sales activity leading to new business in the NSW Public Sector, through the acquisition of new clients. This will be through a combination of building relationships and responding to 'Approaches to Market'.

  • Promotion into the NSW public sector market, through a combination of factors including representation, sponsorships, marketing and other related activities.

  • Provide advice and contribute in relation to the events held in the NSW, to ensure these align with public sector market expectations and provide a suitable platform for sales activities in NSW.

  • Provide advice and contribute to the Sales Leadership Team and the Public Sector Working Group as an expert within your field.



    In order to be considered for this role you will possess:

  • Experience selling in to the Australian public sector market.

  • Relevant sales experience such as human resources, learning and development or education and training.

  • Demonstrated strategic sales cycle and planning experience within similar environments

  • High level relationship building skills

  • Ability to work flexible hours when required

  • Proven record of exceeding KPI's and budgets

  • Direct report management experience
