Functional Analyst - Informatica Cloud Mapping Designer

You must have experience of Informatica Cloud Mapping Designer to carry out this role.

A Functional Analyst - Informatica is required to work on our international clients EMEA BI project which aims to implement a new, robust and fully auditable BI platform; extracting from multiple ERP systems covering over 30 Business Units from across EMEA. The data warehouse will be cloud based and will feed a reporting tool. Running alongside the ETL process will be a complete audit, control and reconciliation process.



The Functional Analyst on the EMEA BI project will be responsible for supporting the requirements definition process by providing technical input as required, creating the design specifications for the IT solution as well as inputting into the detailed technical design of the overall solution.



Duties and Responsibilities:

* Translate business requirements into functional specifications.

* Prepare functional design and specifications.

* Analyse current business processes. Build current process model diagrams.

* Create system test plans.

* Provide support for project execution, for development, unit and system testing along with user acceptance testing.

* Provide estimates to project managers for specific tasks.

* Communicate both up and down in the organization to keep all parties informed.

* Take ownership tasks, risks, issues & actions as assigned.

* Develop and create code as required.

* Share technical knowledge with other team members.

* Support the build, test and deploy phases of the project as required.

* Other duties as required.



Specialised Knowledge/Skills:

- Experience of Informatica / Informatica Cloud Mapping Designer

* Excellent problem solving and analytical skills and the ability to understand the technical implications of business decisions and requests.

* Effective communication, with well-developed interpersonal skills, including diplomacy, tact, and discretion.

* Professional and confident presentation skills.

* Build and maintain strong partnerships with business unit clients

* Adept at working in a fast paced, changing environment while serving the needs of multiple stakeholders.

* Implementation experience desired.



Specific Role Requirements:

* Knowledge & experience of Informatica/Informatica Cloud.

* Knowledge & experience of BI/Data Warehousing is advantageous as is Amazon Redshift knowledge.
