Senior Technical Support Analyst - 6/12 month contract



A major bank in Sydney are currently seeking an experienced technical support analyst for an ongoing contract. The position sits within the FX Sales and Trading team supporting these front office trading systems.



We're ideally looking for trading floor support and development experience and exposure to working within Front Office trading environments and working with trading systems. Experience in FX Pricing, FIX and front office asset classes will be highly desirable.



Technically we're looking for exposure to Unix, FIX protocol, Sybase, Oracle, SQL, shell script, JAVA, TCP/IP, MQ middleware ideally, but other technologies will be acceptable providing you've worked within the appropriate trading environment.



The role is for 6 months, with extension to 12 and the option to then go perm thereafter.
