Clinical Research Pharmacist

A world-class research facility of a leading innovation-driven pharmaceutical company is looking to appoint a Pharmacist to be responsible for ensuring proper investigational product (IP) management and pharmacy services operation in the clinical research unit.
You will ensure the pharmacy services are in compliance to local regulatory requirements, corporate policy and procedures. You will provide clinical pharmacy expertise in the development and management of investigational product through managing the aspect of sourcing, receipt, storage, preparation, dispensing, labelling, inventory accountability, reconciliation, retention, destruction and documentation. Apart from IP management, you will ensure proper management of non-IP, auxiliary supplies, Special Security Substances (SSS), controlled drugs and psychotropic drugs. You will perform extemporaneous preparation (EP), aseptic compounding and other dispensing activities.
The role acts as the pharmacy liaison for an assigned trial for the study team. You will be involved in protocol review and study conduct, reviewing and providing feedback during protocol development. You will review and update Pharmacy local standard operation procedures as appropriate, participate in applicable audit and inspection visits by parent company and external agencies.
The ideal candidate will be a Singapore Registered Pharmacist, with previous hospital pharmacy experience and compounding experience. General GMP knowledge will be beneficial. You must be flexible with work hours to facilitate clinical trial material dispensing which occurs predominantly in the early morning.
