Project Quantity Surveyor

I am currently recruiting on behalf of a large national contractor who operates across a number of disciplines and sectors within the construction industry. With several new projects underway my client is experiencing sustained growth throughout the region and as such have a fantastic job opportunity for an experienced Quantity Surveyor.



Reporting to the commercial manager you will be joining a team on one of the largest projects that my client is currently working on. Reporting to the commercial manager you will be split between office & site. You will be responsible for a large portion of the commercial aspects of the job, including; contract legislation and administration as well as sub-contractor procurement and management, plus measurements, forecasting and cost reporting.



Ideally you will have already gained a few years experience in new build developments, or civil engineering; as well as managing your own projects. Due to the size of this job my client can offer guaranteed work in the local area for a minimum of three years, which is a benefit to those who wish to reduce their daily commute. You will be a professional, confident individual with a proven track record, solid communication skills as well as an astute sense of commercial awareness.
