Infrastructure Project Manager

London, United Kingdom, GB - Information Technology and Services

My client is a global consultancy company, currently searching for an Infrastructure Project Manager to work onsite for one of their end clients, based in Central London.



Your job will be to come in and manage the set up of the IT infrastructure for the PMO of this huge construction company. The contract is initially 6 months long, with fantastic scope for extension, if you perform well during this project.



To be successful in this role, you will be required to have the following skills experience:



· Project Management Professional certification (PMP)

· Minimum 5-10 years experience in project management execution for in construction industry (construction site set ups or similar type work in industry related to real estate and office set ups )

· Minimum 5 years experience implementing projects in technology area's such as WAN, LAN, telephony, voice, remote desk top set ups and content delivery networks (and procurement of such materials as required)

· Project management experience in all/most knowledge areas; scope, time, cost, quality, HR, communications, risk, procurement, and integration management.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, Microsoft Project

· Knowledge of SharePoint

· Experience implementing similar projects with solid understanding of the following:

o Network switch/router configuration and installation

o Install and testing of circuits

o Configuration and installation of unterruptible power supply (UPS)

o Execution of network tests (includes WAN connectivity and ensuring network interfaces run error free and UPS fail over testing

o Installation and testing of wi-fi configuration
